WHO WE ARE
Great Falls Home Town Association, Inc. is a non-profit (501c3) organization focused on economic and community development. Founded in 1996, GFHTA has worked to improve the economy of Great Falls and surrounding area. We were called a Home Town association because we chose to focus on the area around the Town and not just on the downtown or business areas.
The organization stays focused on creating an atmosphere where tourism and business can thrive.
Glinda Coleman
Glinda Price Coleman has been the executive director of the Great Falls Home Town Association for 20 years. This economic and community development non-profit has a focus of revitalizing Great Falls, SC through a program centered on nature-based tourism. Throughout her professional career, Coleman has been a reporter and editor for a community newspaper and was also the director of another non-profit focused on community development. She is a graduate of Winthrop University. She is married to Scott Coleman and they have two grown daughters.

Pam Nunnery is retired from First Citizens Bank and works some as a substitute teacher at
Great Falls High School. She is the mother of two children and grandmother to four
grandchildren. She serves on our board and works with GFHTA because she loves Great Falls
and wants to see the people of the area prosper.

Orr
Patsy Williams Orr is married to Larry Orr and she has two adult children, Angela Bruce
McGaha and Andrew A. Bruce. She is retired from First Citizens Bank and loves to travel.
Elizabeth
Howe
Elizabeth Howe is a native of Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School in 2013. She then attended Columbia College and graduated in 2016 with a major in communications studies and a minor in public relations. Elizabeth moved home to Great Falls and works at the Arras Foundation as the Youth Development Coordinator.
Brenda Fort is a graduate of the University of Louisville, Kentucky and came to Great Falls when she married into a Great Falls family. She and her late husband Dr. Laurens Fort had two sons and five grandsons. She is a retired educator, an advocate for Great Falls, is on the Board of Directors for Workability, and is the current District 2 Chester County School Trustee.
Elizabeth Wilson
Elizabeth Wilson is a native of Great Falls. A graduate of Winthrop College, Elizabeth returned to her hometown after retiring as a history teacher in Falls Church, Virginia. She has served at various times on the Great Falls Home Town Association board since it was chartered. She has been a part of the nature based tourism imitative committee since it’s inception in 2001 and worked as an active stakeholder in the Catawba-Wateree Re-licensing process with Duke Energy. She has represented GFHTA at numerous meetings and conferences over the years.
Lonnie Campbell
Trasenia R. Evans is a vessel for Christ, a mother, cosmetologist, mentor, advocator, intercessor, and community activist. Every person she encounters can feel the love that resonates in her. Trasenia has been in the hair care profession for 21years, but her true passion is being a community activist. She’s a mentor for The Young Ladies Elite Club #2, helping young ladies from ages 10 to 18 years old. She also equips each young lady with the proper tools to manage life and achieve goals. With the ministry of Zamar Church Trasenia is able to serve the community food and host prayer drives. By serving her community she’s building a foundation for her outreach ministry!

Horton
Kesha Hayes Horton is full time Administrative Assistant at the Lancaster County Clemson
Extension Office. She is married to Richard Horton and has 19-year-old twins, a 28-year-old son
and an adopted 21-year-old son. They are members of the Chester County Chamber of
Commerce with their business; Save the Date Event & Travel LLC, which specializes in
wedding planning and travel. Kesha was originally from Columbia, SC before her family moved
to Great Falls in 1988. She has been a volunteer leader for the local 4-H club in Great Falls for
12 years. She developed an innovative program called the Chester County Youth Cultural
Summit, in which she, an assistant and the 4-H teens traveled to all 46 counties in the state. In
2019, she was awarded S.C. 4-H Volunteer of the Year. In the past, she has been a part of all
three Great Falls schools on the PTO board, volunteering, band booster club, substituting and
assisted with Communities-In-Schools (CIS) Kesha is also a part of the Great Falls
Community Heart & Soul Organization. She is active in her church in Rock Hill where
she is the church clerk, youth leader, youth choir director, and assistant in the
communications ministry. Kesha loves to bake and decorate cakes and loves to see
people enjoy themselves.
