2003 – GFHTA and Town of Great Falls chosen as Stakeholders in Duke Energy process for relicensing of the Catawba-Wateree Hydro System

2003-2006 – met monthly with stakeholders from both Carolinas to develop a Comprehensive Relicensing Agreement (CRA).

2006 – CRA was submitted to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
4.
2008 – existing license expired and was renewed annually until license was issued by FERC.
