PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

Theme: “The Greatness of Great Falls”

 

Deadline: October 29, 2022

 

Winner announced: November 17, 2022

 

Details:

 

• Submit up to 3 nature photographs that promote positive images of Great Falls, SC

• Photographs can be either portrait or landscape

• Physical prints of the photograph must be submitted on 8 x 10 photo paper

• This contest is only open to amateur photographers. No age restrictions.

• Photographs can either be in black and white or color

• You do not need to be a resident of Great Falls to enter

• The 1st place winning photograph will be printed on canvas and displayed in the Town of Great Falls. The specific location will be announced later. The photograph will also be featured in the local newspaper.

 

Rules:

 

• Any photographs that appear altered in any way will be disqualified. (i.e. collages, use of filters, etc.)

• Entries must be printed and placed on cardstock (mounting optional)

• Each entry will receive a number

• Before submitting photograph, entry number must be legibly written on the back of the cardstock

• Contestants will keep digital files for future use

• Prints that are submitted for the contest will not be returned to the contestants

• Submitted photographs will be the property of the Great Falls Hometown Association

 

Prizes:  

 

• 1st place–$100 Gift card 

• 2nd place–$75 Gift card

• 3rd place–$50 Gift card

• Fill out entry form CLICK HERE

• Email digital photographs to gfhta96@gmail.com (include entry number)

• Drop off physical prints at Great Falls Memorial Building (401 Dearborn st, Great Falls, SC 29055) or mail prints to P.O. Box 215, Great Falls, SC 29055.
